They met abroad and have been together ever since. B & S celebrated their love right here in the Foggy City and on the foggiest day ever. If you know me, you know how much I LOVE the fog... It's romantic and moody and ethereal. In my opinion, perfect atmosphere for a wedding.

When you're asked by another photographer to photograph their wedding, it is an honour. Well, Cody and Emma are both photographers and when I first heard from them I was so stoked to share this day with them. Their beautiful backyard wedding just outside of Washington, D.C. was the cutest most heartwarming celebration. Beautiful heartfelt moments with family and friends ending in the bride hanging out in her pajamas. What a great day. Thank you Emma & Cody!
Adam & Alecia
Lawn games, pig roast, piñata cake, epic dance party... in the rain, no less. The weather couldn't put a dent into the joy that everyone had this day. I met so many kind and happy people at Adam and Alecia's wedding. They are truly blessed. Congrats A&A!
Wedding / Amy & Justin
"Sorry, I just had to speak with the plumber. We finally got our mess of a toilet fixed- thanks for waiting!" I think that's pretty much how my first conversation with Amy went over the phone. It's that kind of down-to-earth ease Amy and Justin posses that could make any stranger feel welcome into their lives. Their openness and welcoming spirit extended beyond themselves to their family and friends and created some wonderful heartfelt moments for me to capture. I'll let the pictures tell the rest!
Kate & Dave
Kate and Dave had no problem racing up and down a mountain of gravel several times for me. I love the playful energy they have together. I wouldn't normally post out-takes, but there is one photo in here that I had to share. It's pretty telling that these two are a good time and they love to make eachother laugh.
Michelle & Scott
I love adventurous couples who aren't afraid of trekking off the beaten path. In this case, that meant knee-deep snow. As sick of the winter as I am, I don't mind this wintry scene one bit!
Katie Woodhouse
On a post-blizzard day like today, going through these photos was so refreshing and it renewed my hopes for Spring and warmer days. All of this snow can make me forget about how beautiful summers here in New Brunswick really are. Katie now lives in Montreal, but last summer I was able to spend a lovely afternoon picking tons of wild lupins with her here in Saint John. It's always a pleasure photographing creative individuals such as Katie. I hope you enjoy looking through these bright, warm and sunny photos as much as I did.
Emma & Derek
Emma and Derek's wedding in Grand Barachois was the last wedding of 2014 for me. I couldn't have spent the day with a more fun-loving bunch of people who truly welcomed me into their lives for the day. I could have spent hours alone with them taking photos on the beach. It was a gorgeous backdrop for them as they were windswept and held each-other close. Love makes beautiful photos, every time. Thank you Emma and Derek. Enjoy!
Kara & Andrew
Kara and Andrew planned their wedding in true Uptown Saint John style. At any point in time, I had a great view of the port while I spent the day walking the brick-lined streets with them. Their celebration continued through the night at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminal with beautiful twinkly lights, shiny sequins and crystal chandeliers.. a real visual treat. As I listened to speeches, I was laughing in stitches and tears. No doubt these two are surrounded with unconditional love from their family and friends all around.
Angela & Brendan
I don't think I've ever encountered a couple that giggle together as much as Brendan and Angela do. It was so much fun to spend the day with them and capture those moments of infectious happiness. Following their ceremony at Meenan's Cove, everyone enjoyed excellent food provided by The Barrel's Head Gastropub & Winebar and live music by WTFunk. A wonderful day indeed. Add an awesome group of friends who like to party and a family that can dance up a storm and you've got the prefect recipe for an entertaining and fun-filled day.
