Ashley & Rafal

Ashley and Rafal were the first engaged couple I photographed after moving to Saint John a year ago. We were lucky enough to have some fog on the beach (my fav) on their wedding day! I definitely got a little trigger happy with Ashley's amazing veil, haha. The culture and family tradition made this day rich and full of beautiful moments and ended in an awesome celebration with everyone dancing their faces off. Many thanks to Quinn Langille for photographing alongside me. Congrats again A & R!

Now that the wedding season is winding down, I'm finally getting around to sorting through some photos that I took for fun this summer. A friend and I decided to take a roadtrip to Montreal and Quebec City this past July. I only took my digital out with me for a day and I figured I'd try something different and shoot the rest of the time with a disposable. Most of the exposures didn't come out and some were tinted green and magenta... so weird. (That's what I get for being lazy and deciding not to lug around my 20lb. digital camera.) All of the digis, with the exception of maybe one or two, were shot with a 24 mm lens.

Wedding / Jill & Chris

Jill and Chris had a beautiful down to earth backyard wedding, which was only appropriate since they are so down to earth themselves.  When Chris first laid eyes on Jill it completely took his breath away- just scroll down and look at his reaction. It is by far my favorite moment with a couple this year... so full of raw emotion and absolute joy. Stunning pair and a stellar party. Thank you for having me share this day with you J & C!
